Pricing

Free for 2 servers.
Then $5 a month.

Unicorn Panel is a self-hosted, license-gated panel with no hidden tiers. Run 2 servers and 2 accounts with unlimited everything for free. Outgrow either one and it is $5 a month for 3 servers and 10 accounts, plus $1 per extra server and $0.30 per extra account. All prices exclude tax.

Free tier

Start free in one command

There is nothing to buy and no card to enter. Install the panel on a fresh Alpine Linux host and the free tier is already running: 2 servers and 2 accounts, with unlimited websites, databases, mailboxes and DNS zones.

$ wget -qO- https://unicornpanel.com/install | sh

Run it as root on the server you want to manage, then open the panel in your browser. The install guide walks through the whole thing. A license is only needed once you pass 2 servers or 2 accounts, and adding one later does not mean reinstalling: the panel you already have simply lifts its limits.

No server yet? Unicorn Panel is on the Vultr Marketplace, which builds the server and installs the panel in one step.

Launch pricing

$5 a month is launch pricing. Lock it in today and it stays your rate for as long as your subscription runs, even once it changes for new customers.

Size it to your fleet

Drag to your server and account counts. The price updates as you go.

Up to 2 servers and 2 accounts is free. Past either limit, the $5 package covers 3 servers and 10 accounts, then $1 per extra server and $0.30 per extra account.

Billed monthly in USD, excluding tax. Any VAT or sales tax is worked out at checkout based on your location. Cancel anytime, with a 30-day money-back guarantee.

Excludes tax

Start at $5 a month

Checkout is always $5 a month. Extra servers and accounts are metered from the counts the panel reports, so they land on a later invoice rather than at checkout.

Your price never goes up

This is launch pricing, and buying at it locks it in. If we raise prices later, the new rate applies to new customers only: your license stays grandfathered at the price you signed up at, for as long as your subscription stays active.

Cancel anytime

No contracts, no minimum term, and no exit fee. Cancel from your account page in one click and you keep running until the end of the period you have already paid for. Your servers, sites, and data are yours throughout: nothing is held hostage, and the panel drops back to the free tier rather than locking you out.

Cost examples

What real fleets pay

A few worked examples, from a first paid server to a fleet of fifty. Two numbers decide your invoice: how many servers you run, and how many accounts exist on the panel.

ServersAccountsServer costAccount costPer monthincl. $5 package
310——$5 package
510$2—$7
525$2$4.50$11.50
1050$7$12$24
25100$22$27$54
50250$47$72$124

Billing is metered by your own counts: the panel reports how many servers and accounts you run, so your invoice adjusts automatically.

What counts as an account

10 accounts in the package,
then $0.30 each

Accounts are the user logins on your panel: customers, resellers, and collaborators alike. Two are free, the $5 package includes 10, and every account beyond that is $0.30 per month.

Three-tier accounts

Operator to reseller to customer, each with scoped access to only the fleet and resources they should see.

White-label reselling included

Each reseller gets their own panel domain, branding, and SMTP for transactional mail. No separate add-on, and their customers never see the upstream operator.

One $5 package

Every paid fleet starts from the same $5 a month, covering 3 servers and 10 accounts. Grow past either and you add $1 per server or $0.30 per account, nothing else.

The questions we get asked

What counts as an account?

A panel account is anyone who signs into the panel: a customer, a reseller, or a collaborator helping run someone else’s site. Websites, databases, mailboxes and DNS zones are not counted, and there is no limit on them at any tier.

What happens if I go over the package?

Nothing breaks. The extra servers and accounts are added to your next invoice at $1 per server and $0.30 per account, per month. Your panel keeps working, and the invoice follows the fleet rather than the other way round.

Do I pay for a server I only ran for a few days?

Your bill follows the count the panel reports, so adding a server for a short job and removing it again does not leave you paying for it afterwards. Take one out of service and the next invoice reflects that.

What happens if I cancel?

You keep running until the end of the period you have already paid for, then the panel drops back to the free tier rather than locking you out. Your servers, sites, databases and mailboxes are yours throughout: nothing is held hostage, and nothing is deleted.

Will the price go up later?

Not for you. $5 a month is launch pricing, and buying at it locks it in for as long as your subscription stays active. Any increase applies to new customers only.

Is tax included?

No. Prices exclude tax, and any VAT or sales tax is worked out at checkout based on where you are. You will see the full amount before you pay.

What if it is not for me?

There is a 30-day money-back guarantee on your first invoice, no questions asked, and you can try the whole panel for nothing first: 2 servers and 2 accounts with unlimited everything, for as long as you like.
